Homeowners insurance is a package policy. This means that it covers both damage to your property and your liability or legal responsibility for any injuries and property damage you or members of your family cause to other people. This includes damage caused by household pets.
This policy covers the building, household goods, contents and personal belongings including valuables such as jewellery, home appliances and computers.
N.B. In respect of No. 5 and 6, cover will not apply if the premises are insufficiently furnished for normal living purposes or not occupied for more than 40 consecutive days.
